TEMPEST
I produced this one in about five minutes, and although it's nothing special, it feels true to the purpose of this whole project, as an opening of the mind and a pouring out of art.  I had no choice but to just go with the first instinct I had and whatever I thought would get the job done, which turned out to be a black crayola marker.  I was briefly brought back to a time when I was so totally in love with those markers, and now I feel like I might have to give them another run sometime soon.  The speed at which you can produce such opaque and wide lines is awesome, and much love to sharpies, but something just feels easier and more fluid about using the crayola marker.  I'm going to tinker with my giant post some more now, because it still has the potential to be much better.

  1. Anytime I see something like this, I think about standing on the edge of that mountain in New Mexico and watching the clouds drench those little towns out in the valley. Simple... I like it.
